On September 27-29, 2010, Medline brought together leaders from the long-term care community to New York City to participate in a forum called The Long-Term Care Quality Summit: Meeting the Changing Expectations for Quality.

More than 150 healthcare leaders attended this special invitational forum, which was designed to foster an exchange of ideas and a better understanding of the changes taking place in quality assurance in the long-term care environment. At the forum, they discussed the changing regulatory expectations for the long-term care industry and how nursing homes can implement a system to continuously improve quality of care and life for their residents.
