Breakfast Forum at the AORN 59th Congress
Medline hosted our 7th annual breast cancer awareness breakfast at the AORN Congress in New Orleans. The program kicked off before 6 in the morning with more than 900 operating room nurses doing an impromptu pink glove dance filmed for pinkglovedance.com. Later, Judy Pickett, a three-time breast cancer survivor and avid runner shared her journey with breast cancer and how running and her many caregivers have helped her survive and thrive. At the event, Medline President Andy Mills presented Janelle Hail, National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) President with a check for $200,000, which makes Medline's total donation amount a million dollars to date.
